Problem with getting High[0] / CurrentBar on Button

Hello,

I have strategy in NT8. It adds buttons to toolbar. After click on button (e.g. Long) - private void btnLong_Click function it shoud set Low[0] value to priceFiboA. But it generates nonsenses. The same issue is when I want to set CurrentBar. I have the same code in NT7 and it worked fine.

Could you please help me where can be problem? I include file

Hello Paul,

If you are attempting to access bar data outside of a data driven method, you must use TriggerCustomEvent() to synchronize the series first.

Using <Series>.GetValueAt() is an alternative to using TriggerCustomEvent.


As a tip, only public properties will need the XmlIgnore() attribute.

you mean to wrap code ijside btnclick function into:
TriggerCustomEvent(o =>
{ get high[0] here??? });
