    Problem Print of Division

    Hi,

    I have a very simple issue as the result of a division in Print(); is 0.

    If i simply write the following:

    int Interger1 =2;
    int Interger2 =3;

    double Division = Interger1/Interger2;

    Print (Division);
    or
    Print ((double)Division);
    or
    Print (Division.ToString());

    I'll get 0, why is that???

    Hello cbadr,

    Thank you for your note.

    This has to do with Casting and is a general C# concept. I would suggest a web search for “dividing by two integers in C#”.

    To get the true value you could use,

    double Division = (double)Interger1/Interger2;

    Which would print .66.

    Please let us know if you need further assistance.
