Just started strategy builder on ninja 8. Couple simple questions.

1.) Right now I enter the same strategy twice in order to set up two different targets. works sometimes and sometimes doesn't.. What are correct settings when putting strategy into chart? (i.e., entries per direction, entry handling, other???)

2.) I have a strategy that will short or long but once in a trade I don't want the trade to be reversed by an opposing signal. I want to let it ride out. Correct settings?

To control how many times your strategy is allowed to enter the same direction, you would want to read the following link in the Helpguide,

When the strategy does not work, are you seeing errors in the log tab?

To prevent your strategy from going from long to short, meaning reversing, you would want to add logic to the short conditions which checked that the strategy was flat in addition to your regular logic. Can someone tell me how to incorporate an existing ATM into an automated strategy either by importing existing ATM (easiest) or creating the code. I simply want to be able to tighten the trailing stop when I get near target while running automated strategy. Thank you.

If you want to enter a method using an existing Atm Strategy Template, you would need to use Atm Strategy Methods. Included with NinjaTrader 8 is the SampleAtmStrategy strategy that demonstrates and you can view the code for in the NinjaScript Editor.
