Stops and Targets

Hi
If you have a strategy running that triggs entry, stop and target automaticly, and have the Dom or a separate chart up with the same instrument, you will see the orders both in the dom or on the chart if you have the charttrader activated. Lets say that in the middle of a trade I would like to move my target further away. It is no problem to do that inside a bar, but as soon as a new bar plots, the target "jumps" back to the original position set by the strategy. Is it possible to avoid that?

Hello Finn,

Your strategy is most likely modifying the order each bar. You will need to modify the code of the strategy so it works the way you want. Note that the strategy does not call the order each bar then any working orders will automatically be cancelled.

Also, it is important to understand that strategy orders are not meant to be modified manually.

If you submit your order via an ATM strategy within the strategy manual intervention is better supported. This link will help:
