I need help on the following situation: I have a NT8 strategy running that generates a trade. My account has an open position and then the Strategy is stopped for technical reason.
When I restart my strategy it does not know the position it generated is open and the position never gets closed.
What is the best way to resolve this situation?

If an account position is open and a strategy is enabled (after system reboot), will the account position then be mapped to the correct historical order?

How should I meet the following rule: Only set to true if you have specifically programmed your strategy to be able to adopt account positions

I have provided a link to a sample strategy which is programmed to adopt account positions you may use as a reference for how you could program you strategy to be able to adapt account positions.

To answer your question will the account position then be mapped to the correct historical order, the answer is no, as the sample I provided does not have a historical account position but instead manages an open position taken manually ie the Superdom. To run the strategy, open a manual position on an instrument then apply the strategy to that instrument and you will see a profit target and stop loss submitted against that position.
