two strategies at the same time

Good afternoon, I have a question.

In playback I have executed two strategies at the same time on the same financial instrument. The first has opened short position. Two candles after the second to open another short position. After twenty minutes, the first strategy has closed short position and has opened long position. Until the closing of the two positions, both the long position of the first strategy and the short position of the second strategy have remained open at the same time. Something that I found very interesting.

The question is: by executing both strategies in real, would the situation described above also happen?

Running two strategies on the same instrument and account would cause the strategies to not be in sync with the account. This would be the same as if two traders were placing orders over the phone to a broker on the same account and instrument.

If you are asking if the account position and strategy position are separate, yes they are.
