Custom Strategy still listed in the Strategies List

Hello

I have removed the .CS code of a strategy from the Custom folder.

But the strategy is still listed in the list of strategies when I right click on a chart then click on Strategies.

I think that a custom dll of my strategy has been deployed somewhere and that I should delete it but I can't find where this file might be...

What would be the procedure to completely remove a custom strategy from NT7 ?

Thank you for the question.

First I want to check, what specific folder was the .cs file located? Was this in the Strategies subfolder, or was this in the Custom folder specifically?

If this was in the Strategies folder, you may just need to compile at this point to have it removed, have you compiled at this point? If not, please go to Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator -> ADL and then open it. Right-click and choose Compile in the new window.

Yes, in this case, this should be source code so completing a compile should correct the item being listed. Could you try the steps to compile I had previously provided?

If compiling does not correct the problem, that may indicate that you have a duplicate script in the Custom folder or one of the subfolders with the same name. It is possible to have two separate .cs files with separate names but they include a same-named strategy. The Name is delegated by the Name property in the strategies code.

I have been able to delete the custom strategy by clicking on File/Utilities/Remove NinjaScript Assembly, then by restarting NT7.
