Strategy with form created in Initialize()

Hello

I have coded a Strategy with custom form created in Initialize() function :

		CustomForm cf = null;
        /// <summary>
        /// This method is used to configure the strategy and is called once before any strategy method is called.
        /// </summary>
        protected override void Initialize()
        {
			this.BarsRequired = 1;
            CalculateOnBarClose = false;
			this.ClearOutputWindow();
			checkParamFile();
			
			if (cf == null)
			{
				cf = new CustomForm(this);
				cf.Show();
			}
        }

When I open a chart (eg. EURUSD) then right click on the chart then I select "Strategies" then there are 2 forms that are shown (Initialize()) is called twice.

Is there a way to avoid that behaviour ? Thanks

Thank you for the post.

This would be expected because Initialize is called when opening the Strategy menu to get properties for the list. This logic should likely be moved to the OnStartUp override.
