Manual Order Entry and Strategy Exit.

If I enter a trade (Either long or short) manually, how to exit based on a strategy? I am a newbie to Ninja Script! I am using NT7.

Thanks for your post.

NinjaScript strategy positions are separate from the actual account positions and strategies will not be aware of manual entries. NinjaTrader 8 can have a strategy use AdoptAccountPosition as a Start Behavior to have the strategy begin managing from the current Account position.

If you would like to accomplish this, I recommend using NinjaTrader 8. For NinjaTrader 7 I would recommend using an ATM strategy to manually enter and manage a position.
