Implicit broker/exchange event setting PendingCancel state

An explicit Cancel(order) will immediately set the order to PendingCancel state within NinjaTrader before the cancel request is sent to the broker/exchange.
My question is, will an order always be set to PendingCancel, prior to the Cancelled state should a broker/exchange event side occur, such as OCO trigger or order expiration?

    Hello lavalampmj,

The order will enter the PendingCancel state only if NinjaTrader is sending the cancellation request.

If using Native OCO, an oco event would not cause the opposing orders to enter a PendingCancel state.

If using Local OCO Simulation, the opposing orders would enter a PendingCancel state as NinjaTrader sends the cancellation requests.
