Hi Josh

I'm using PerEntryExecution - every order is given a unique entrysignal and the target is linked via that ... there is a sinlge stop loss orice hence the 'general' call to setStopLoss

Well I have not tried it yet ... I saw the original post and it put me off placing n lots orders so I instread of placing an order for say 3 lots I have been placing 3 1 lot orders ... I would like to change to placing 1 3 lot order but I really don't want to change all my code if it is not going to work properly ... it is a bit worrying for you to say "i think you should be fine" ....

Please state in English, what behavior you are trying to get.

With Set() and PerEntryExecution if you did 1 order for 3 and the 3 were partial fills you may get 3 sets of stop/targets. If you use ByStrategyPosition, it should modify the original stop/target to accomodate the additional partial fills as they come in.

it is pretty plain ... the thread says there was a problem with partial fills i was just asking in plain english if there is still a problem or not

Pardon me. It was not my intent to be rude. It is not clear to me what behavior you are trying to achieve. This thread is very old and so I am trying to determine if what you are trying to do is relevant to the original issue discussed by this thread.

The original issue is very case specific and that is why I am trying to qualify your concerns.
