Positions[0].AvgPrice[0] - GetCurrentAsk(0) = Error

Hi,
I am testing a strategy which has a very dynamic order handling and need to calculate the offset between AvgPrice and CurrentBid / CurrentAsk, because the closing price is often not relevant to the actual Bid and Ask.

I am trying to run the following code, but I get the "Operator '-' cannot be applied to operands of type 'double' and 'method group'"


Here is the bit of code I try to run

Positions[0].AvgPrice[0] - GetCurrentAsk(0) >= 0


Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the post.

AvgPrice is a scalar value. You are accessing the [0]th Position object in this code so you will access it's AvgPrice property like so:

Positions[0].AvgPrice - GetCurrentAsk(0) >= 0

Note*
If your Strategy is only trading one instrument, you may use Position.AvgPrice to access the singleton position.
