Cancel SL/TP Orders

How can I cancel my SL and TP orders which I submitted using SetStopLoss and SetProfitTarget?

Thanks for opening the thread.

Orders submitted with SetProfitTarget() and SetStopLoss() do not return an IOrder and cannot be canceled with CancelOrder(). Additionally, you cannot take control of these orders by setting an IOrder to the Profit Target or Stop Loss when they iterate through OnOrderUpdate().

If you would like to be able to place a Profit Target or Stop Loss that you can cancel, you will have to use exit methods that return an IOrder that you can use in CancelOrder().

Hi

I've noticed that once I disable my strategy, my TP and SL orders are automatically canceled as well.
Is there a way to make the orders remain even when the strategy is disabled?

Yes, you will have to make sure "Cancel exit orders when a strategy is disabled" is unchecked in the Strategies > NinjaScript tabs of the Tools > Options menu.
