help with backround color and pivots

we are trying to shade the backround color green and a pivot move up using donchian channel, but would also like the backround color to stay green if the channel upper pivot value remains the same since initial move upward. Same for pivot down we paint the backround maroon, but cant get the backround to shade during horizointal travel in the pivots. Any ideas?

Changing the back ground color for a bar is accomplished via:

BackColor = yourColor;
