Seems my buying power looks wrong in my test account

It says 20000 after I reset the cash value to 10000. My MB Trading account I believe has 100:1 margin, so shouldn't the buying power be $1M? Do I have to set the margin somewhere?

When you change the cash value you then need to reset the account. This is more for simulated accounts.

Yeah I did that. Margin still says 20k with cash value = 10k. my margin is set to .02, which is 50:1. so it should have buying power = 500k, right?

And what is maintenance margin?

Then I guess this might be a bug? I have 10k in equity and margin of .02, but my buying power is 20k, when it should be 500k. Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong.
