Real-time index data

I uninstalled ninja 8 but came back to it bc I wanted to watch market breadth w/ some of the Tick, Trin, Vix and what have ya.

I noticed they don't move until I reload historical data then it only updates it until I do it again. ?

Is that not part of the free version?

This would be dependent on your data provider.

The NinjaTrader Continuum futures demo does not provide real-time index data. If you have a paid data subscription, please reach out to your broker/data provider and ask about obtaining real-time index data.

Okay, that's why. I pay just for ES $5 a month, I can get more in a package deal but I trade live for a little while then in sim ... go back & forth over time.

To start a new thread I always end up spending all kinds of time trying to figure out how to do it so I just pigy back or don't post. One day I'll stumble onto how to do that.
