    Login not happening properly

    Since Yesterday my login has not been happening right.
    It took so long I actually aborted it twice yesterday before letting it sit there for over 5 minutes trying to login. The same this morning it took 3 minutes to log in. If I get disconnected or something happens and I have to close and ReOpen 3 minutes is Way too long.

    and it goes thru several servers each time.

    Hello JerryWar,

    I suggest to try a reset of your modem/router first and check if this will allow you to connect quicker.

    Are you wireless connected? If so, please hard wire your computer to your modem/router if possible.

    How many devices do you have connected to your modem/router? Is NinjaTrader able to connect faster if less devices are connected to your modem/router?

    It is as expected that NinjaTrader connects to these 2 servers.

      I am Hardwired of course.
      It is the only current connection.
      I will try resetting but I am skeptical that has anything to do with it.

        Thank you for clarifying.

        Am I correct you connect to NinjaTrader Continuum? When I test this connection on my end, it takes a few seconds to get connected. I have not seen reports from other customers of long connection times so far.

        Does it take 3 minutes each time you connect?

        Do you have your connection configured to automatically connect on startup or do you manually connect?

          I just rebooted my modem and router.
          Over 3 minutes to connect. There is something wrong on your end.
          I logged into some other streaming services I use and its immediate.
          It's on your end and it started this weekend.

          Its CQG which I believe is your NinjaTrader continuum.

          I Always manually connect and its never been a problem.

            Can you please send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find the Config.xml file at Windows start menu-->Documents--> NinjaTrader 7. Please attach it in your email and include a link to this forum post. You can send it to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

              I just logged out and tried NT8 same exact behavior. It just sits there for over 3 minutes and then connects. I am waiting while I am typing for NT7 to log back in. That is how slow it is.

              How can I trade with a connection like this ?

                I have gone thru all my log files and it consistently ( Before this weekend ) took 10 seconds to connect between connecting and connected. Now it consistently takes 3 minutes or so. With the number of disconnects I get This makes the platform unusable to trade. I need this fixed. Someone changed Something.
