Backtesting My Strategy

I have written and compiled my strategy with no issues. However, when I try to add the strategy to the Strategies tab or Strategy Analyzer it does not work properly. The properties do not change when I select my new strategy, and it will run whichever strategy was selected before I selected my strategy. Anyone know what would cause this?

Thank you for your post.

Just to review, you are going to: File>New>Strategy Analyzer>click on an instrument>click on the "b" icon on the tool bar? After that you should select the strategy you want to run from the drop-down menu at the very top of the Backtest window (or the New Strategy window) where you can enter your parameters.
