    Profit & Loss miscalculation NT7

    Hello
I placed a trade on 3/31/2017 and took profit for 2.5 pips. With the trade size 100K $, I should have had 25$ profit (10$/pip). But NT7 miscalculated profit to 2500$. How do I fix this?

    Thank you very much

    Hello thebigarch,

    Thank you for your post.

What instrument was the trade placed on?
What region is your PC set to? (Example: United State of America)
Under Tools > Options > Misc, what is 'Quote currencies in' set to?

I look forward to your response.

      Hello Patrick

      The instrument was USDJPY.
The region is set to United States.
And Tools > Options > Misc doesn't present 'Quote currencies in' option on my machine.

      I'm using NT7 7.0.1000.34 and Windows 10.

All the info as in attached pictures.

      Thank you.

        Hello thebigarch,

        Thank you for your response.

My mistake on the Options tab, please go to the Data tab and advise what 'Quote currencies in' is set to.

          Hi Patrick
          It's set to 'Half Pip'

            Hello thebigarch,

            Thank you for your patience.

Please repair the NinjaTrader database and then restart NinjaTrader. Please then test the USDJPY on the Sim101 account and see if the PNL is reporting correctly going forward.

Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database. (This can take some time depending on the size of your database file and your system.)
            • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect.
            • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options.
            • Select the 'Data' tab.
            • Press the 'Repair DB' button.
            • Press the 'OK' button.

I look forward to your response.
