How to update to new NT version

Hi there,

I'm currently running 7.0.1000.32 NT has just notified me that a new version is available - 7.0.1000.34. I already have the required TWS platform installed (Interactive brokers) and downloaded the setup.exe file as mentioned in the release notes here.

To do the NT update, do I simply close NT and then run the setup.exe file I downloaded?

Thank you for posting in our forum.

To upgrade NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below.

First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
Enter your license key and press Submit
Select 'NinjaTrader 7'
Select 'Download'
Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to Interactive Brokers and specific connection configuration information. It also includes information regarding which version of TWS you should be using with the corresponding version of NinjaTrader 7.

If I just close NT and run the setup.exe file - will all my data connections, workspaces etc remain as they are now?
