    Multiple Targets Grouped incorrectly

    Hi

I have a custom ATM strategy set up on the DynamicDOM.

    Order Qty 3

    Target 1
    qty 1
    stoploss 4
    profit target 3

    target 2
    qty 2
    stoploss 4
    profit target 6

I place a limit order, when it is filled, sometimes the I only get one target order set for qty 3.

    Am i missing a setting?

Could it be the second profit target is not displayed in the DOM, because the price is outside of the display of the DOM? Try scrolling the price ladder to see if you can locate your second profit target.

In addition, please double check if "Order qty" is set to a value of 3 upon submitting the limit order.

      Hi Jason

it is neither of those things. It has been doing it again today (after shutting nt and computer).

i now have to close down the dom after each transaction to reset it.

nb i can aslo see on the chart trader the targets grouped as one target with a qty 3.

If this is on your Sim 101 account it is possible that your margin is running low and you do not have enough left to close your open positions or enter the strategy.

If this is the case please try going to Tools--> Options--> Simulator--> Reset.

If this is not the case please post a screen shot of your strategy so I may take a look at the setup.

          Hi

I have buying power 195317 and cash value of 97658 in my sim101, also it does not always do it. one minute it groups the targets. it tends to group the targets. then when that is filled it and i place the next order it is ok. (I am not increasing the account as I am making losses!)

could it be when i place a limit order and cancel it. then place another and it is filled?

Does it make a difference if TIF is day or gtc?

              Hello,

You screen shot did not get attached. Could up please try again. Note you will have to click to attach it after you browse to find the file.

Also a screen shot of the chart trader chart on a one minute interval would be useful.

Please try flattening everything: File>Flatten Everything. Then place the order.

                Here is the screenshot.

will have to wait for the chart trader one to occur.

                  Hello,

Your ATM strategy seem fine so long as when you right click the DOM>Properties, and Parameter type is set to ticks.

Also, the next time you see your orders bunch up try moving to a lower timeframe or zooming in closer to see if that helps spread out the orders visually.
