Question on Using external dll for increased calculation speed

I have some calculations that are Slow ( several nested WMA's with a long look-back). If I were create a dll would I see an noticeable improvement in speed over the Ninja Script compiled version? Are there any other recommendations other than optimizing the code which I have already done.

    Thanks for any input

Using an external dll is unlikely to be an improvement in execution speed. Remember that NT is itself executing as a single DLL. So calling another DLL would actually involve calling overhead, which may be negligible, but would almost certainly be no faster than executing inside a single already loaded DLL, which is what the NT gumball is.

Yes, I thought it was a stretch , the only hope I thought I had was that the code produced "Script" / compiler was not as optimized as a full out c# compiler.
