Remove Ninjascript Assembly

we are going around in a circle

per my post: he does not have any of HIS indicators that could be referencing MY indicators as he has not written any code.

he does not have any of HIS to remove

now what?

To clarify: are you saying his has NO custom indicators/strategies at all?

he has none that he has coded

he has 3 other assemblies, besides mine, that he has imported and he has the same problem trying to remove those...i.e. each has a file dependency that prevents removal of the assembly

at this point, is there a way he can just remove NT and re-install without retaining any settings or indicators/strategies?

would that not be the simplest/cleanest way to restore control?....he is not able remove dependencies

OR...the assemblies are all in Ninjatrade6.5/bin/Custom....is there a way to remove them from there? we tried and it did not work however perhaps you have a way?

He should remove ALL of them no matter of self-coded or not by Tools->Edit NinjaScript->Indicator/Strategy->Select->Delete.

He could create a backup (File->Utilities->Backup) before, just in case ...

now we are back to the fact that none of those custom indicators/strategies are available to select/delete via Tools->Edit NinjaScript->Indicator/Strategy->Select->Delete.

the reason for this is they are protected assemblies that imported .cs and .dll files into the bin/Custom folder just like mine and finalTPOchart. The same is the case with mine and finalTPOchart...ie. they are not available to select/delete via Tools->Edit NinjaScript->Indicator/Strategy->Select->Delete either.

can you join a Skype/Mikogo chart share session we are having to resolve this issue please

As last resort you could try a fresh installation like:
- backup (File->Utilities->Backup)
* Database
* Market Replay data
* Chart and Market Analyzer templates
* Workspaces
- uninstall NT
- manually delete <My documents>/NinjaTrader6.5
- reinstall NT

You then need to enter license again and setup account connections and restore from backup above.
