Bar chart data

I signed up for a bar chart account that seems to have been established properly...but there are gaps in the data ...I want to build day session 15 tik range bar charts for use with Woodie cci methods...why do my charts only reflect 2 days dat when I try to build thenm for longer periods and why do they lack large ammounts of data for some days...?

Thank you for your post.

Please right click on a chart>format data series, and increase the number in the Days back field.

Regarding the "amount" of data that is displayed: the number of tick bars will depend on how many ticks have come in. If it is a slow day in the market, you will get fewer bars because there are fewer ticks.

Regarding the data gaps, please tell me what instrument and exchange you are charting and supply a screen shot of the entire chart that illustrates what you are seeing.

To send a screenshot, click CTRL + PRINT SCREEN. Then, open up Paint from Start > Accessories > Paint. Paste into the Paint program by clicking CTRL + V. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send as an attachment.

- Highlight the window you want to take a screenshot of

- Then press ALT+Prnt Scrn

- Now open up an email

- Right click in the email and select Paste


The screenshot should now be pasted in the email and ready to send over.

I want to use range bar charts...not tick charts ...how do i proceed...?

This can be changed inside your chart or before you create the chart. Please visit the link for more information regarding the creation of charts.

Please restart NinjaTrader and create your desired chart.

It is not working...this is the reason for my original post ..there are gaps in the data ..please do not tell me to review the help files...I know how to build the charts ...
