Have anyone tried to run the same strategy on 2 or more differnt pairs/equities?

what would happen if there is an order in one of the pair, and a condition is met at different pair/equity, is the strategy going to check the margin then submit the new order, or it will just submit the new order?

I dont know the logic when there is a situation like this happen.

NT just submits the orders and marging checking is always done at the broker.

Ok, That's what I thought.

So is there a way to add in another condition to check if there is an order, if yes, ignore the coming conditions, unless it is reversing conditions which will exit the LONG order and enter a new SHORT order.

NT internally ignores subsequent orders based on the following parameters that are set when running a strategy.

Entries per direction
Sets the maximum number of entries allowed per direction while a position is active based on the "Entry handling" property
Entry handling
Sets the manner in how entry orders are handled. If set to "AllEntries", the strategy will process all entry orders until the maximum allowable entries set by the "Entries per direction" property has been reached while in an open position. If set to "UniqueEntries", strategy will process entry orders until the maximum allowable entries set by the "Entries per direction" property per each uniquely named entry.

Ok, I can see the property of strategy on each chart.

What about the same strategy on different pairs on different chart running at the same time?

Let's say USD/JPY, EUR/USD, they both have the same strategy setting on the chart as you mentioned above. When there is a LONG on USD/JPY, then there is a EUR/USD LONG condition met, does it submit another order at another chart, since the order is outside of this pair.

If this one strategy can see other charts, assuming exactly the same property to have only 1 entry per direction, there is No new order made at EUR/USD in this specific case?

Maybe a little complicated.

Have not read complete thread... however properties are per strategy and not "globally" and there is no logic like "strategy A sees what strategy B is doing".

What if I am running only 1(one) same strategy on different pairs?

You could run a NinjaScript strategy on multiple instruments.

Im trying to find out is there a way for this 1(one) strategy to check if there is another order already placed at one of the pairs using this 1(one) strategy, when there is a NEW condition met at the (other) pair. If yes, no order, if no go ahead with the order.

The point is using 1(one) same strategy in 2 or more pairs, so it wont go over the account's margin.

Unfortunately this is not supported, since a strategy only can manage it's own order. It can not manage/control orders not placed by itself.
