    Scaling in Panel 2

    Hi,

An indicator such as the standard CurrentDayOHL when added to Panel 1 will correctly not show a days High or Low if it is outside the currently active Y scale range.

When added to Panel 2 however, this doesnt happen and all plots are shown even though AutoScale is set to false.

Is there a simple there to override this so only the Plots that are immediately relevant are shown in the same way as for Panel 1.

I use the CurrentDayOHL as an example only of the effect I wish to achieve.

    Thanks

    No, this is not possible.

Any change here? I'm interested in plots added to Panel 2 to have autoscale=false behavior.

Unfortunately no changes have been made.

NinjaTrader 7 due out in the second quarter of this year will have improvements in scaling.

I will also send your request to development for future consideration.

          Has this changed in NT7?

I have an indicator in panel 2 that has AutoScale = false in the code but still does not allow this.
The AutoScale setting in the indicator popup panel shows as 'true' and is gray so it can't be changed.

          How can I solve this?

          Thanks

Unfortunately this is not possible. When an indicator is applied to a new panel as only indicator, 'Auto scale' is set to True by default and cannot be changed.

Only when you apply an indicator to a panel that already contains a data series or indicator, you will be able to change the 'Auto scale' setting.

However you will be able to modify the Y-axis of a panel that contains 1 indicator - you can (de)compress the Y-axis to your liking.
