simulating pass data in real time or specific speed

Hi,

Can I replay pass data information and simulate the trade in realtime or in specific speed(faster)?
Can this apply to strategy script, so I can see it is working in real action for pass datas, right now I see the fixed data for the strategy. So to do backtest in tick by tick.

Yes, this is possible using the Market Replay feature. You can record real-time data, which can be replayed at a later time using a faster speed if you like. More information can be found in the link below.

Can I replay the pass period?

Let's say I want to replay July of 2007.

From the manual, it seems I have to record before I can replay.

Thank you for your post.


You must record the data in real-time, then you will have it saved and it can be played back. It works just like a VCR recorder when you are recording a TV show. Once the TV show has aired you cannot record it.
