Reinstalling Ninjatrader 7

Hello,

I'm having problems with a 3rd party indicator. I hired a programmer to develop an indicator for me and I am having issues with it.

I'm not having any issues with any of the other indicators that I use on my multiple chart and workspace setup. And I just installed another indicator and it works fine also.

The programmer instructed me to install his indicator from my desktop, so I did not copy it to the bin > custom > import directory.

In any case, the programmer told me to uninstall and reinstall Ninjatrader 7.

If I do that, will I lose my chart templates, workspaces or the way that my workspaces and charts load on my four monitor computer setup?

Thanks for posting.

The act of reinstalling the program through the Add or Remove Programs menu in Windows would not cause you to lose any of these items. However, removing or making changes to the Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 folder would potentially cause loss of workspaces, etc.

As long as no changes are made to the Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 folder while reinstalling, no chart templates, workspaces, configuration settings, etc., would be lost.
