    Ninja 7 Windows 10

    Hello
I have been using Ninja 7 for many years with lots of home strategies.
I just changed my computers (for Rampage IV and windows 10).
How can I install Ninja 7 under windows 10 ? It blocks...
    Thank you
    Pierre

Can you go into more detail about what occurs when you try to download and install NinjaTrader?

When you say 'it blocks', is it a virus protection program that is blocking the file?

Does a message appear? If so, what does it report?

      Hi
Ok I detail my problem :
I have upgrade my computers (Mother board Rampage IV) with a full windows 10
      and Framework 4.6.X (obvious)
when I install Ninja 7 with a full licence Dorman, Ninja 7 say "Impossible to installe because Framework 2.5 (3.5 ?) not installed"
      It is stupid because :
      - Framework 4.6.X is installed
      - Framework 2.5 (3.5 ?) is NOT compatible with Windows 10

How can I installed Ninja 7 in windows 10 ?

      Thanks a lot

      Pierre

Microsoft .NET 3.5 is required for NinjaTrader 7. You can download and install the required .NET version from the installation guide:

Framework 4.6.X is always in windows 10
Impossible to install Framework 3.5 because it is an inferior version

It is possible to have .NET 3.5 and 4.5+ installed simultaneously on a Windows 10 PC. As an example, here is a screenshot of my PC info and Windows Features screen:

What occurs when you try to install .NET 3.5?

Here are installation instructions for your reference:

            Windows 7 and newer
            • Go to the Uninstall a Program section of the Windows Control Panel
            • At the top left select Turn Windows features on or off
            • Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and select OK.
            • (if you do not see Windows 3.5 in this list, you can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en)
            • After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
            • After the install please check for updates to the .Net Framework with the Windows Update function

Note: Do not reboot your PC in between these steps as this can potentially create more issues that we are unfortunately not qualified to assist with.
