    Kinetick Data error

I have created a chart twice with daily NKE bars from 7-1-2010 t0 7-1-2011.
The first attachment shows the chart in NT7 from one PC and the second attachment shows the same chart in NT8 from another PC. Both are based on Kinetick daily bars for the same period. The charts look completely different and the NT7 chart lacks recent data.
Clearly the NT7 chart is incorrect.
How can I repair the data feed?

    Hello PaulZ,

    Thank you for your post.

Please shut down NinjaTrader 7 and clear the cache. To clear the cache, follow the steps below.
    • Shut down NinjaTrader.
    • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > db folder.
    • Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
    • Restart NinjaTrader and test.

Please let me know if this corrects the missing data.

Yes, the missing data is now corrected.
However, I still see a very large jump in price for NKE on Jan 1 2011 that I do not see on the NT8 chart I posted below. See attachment.
(Was NKE split on that date? If so why does it only show on one chart and not the other?)

        Hello PaulZ,

        Thank you for your response.

That is definitely incorrect data. In my testing on Yahoo and Kinetick I do not see such a large change in data. Although there is a large jump down around that time it is not as drastic as 20 points.

Please reset your instruments > shut down NinjaTrader > delete your NKE data for Daily > restart NinjaTrader > connect to Kinetick and test again.

To reset your instruments please follow the steps below.
        • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
        • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
        • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect)> Select your connection.

The data to delete will be found under Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\day > delete the NKE folder before starting up NinjaTrader.

Please let me know if the Day chart in 2011 still shows these incorrect values.
