Ninja error

Hi Support,

Once in a while I get this error in Ninja log (highlighted in yellow in the log).

Failed to call "Add" method for period type 'Tick'. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
Failed to call "Add" method: Object reference not set to am instance of an object.


Is Ninja throwing this error or is it coming from an indicator ?

Also not sure if tis connected to the above error, but sometimes I noticed Ninja crashes, when I reload a ES tick/volume chart .

Please let me know which indicator you are using when this occurs.

Also can you reproduce this?

I was trying several things/indicators, but I noticed this error later in the day in the ninja log.

The ninja crash is a different thing, that happened when I reloaded a ES tick/volume chart, for 10 days chart. I reduced the number of days on the ES chart from 12 to 10, and ninja was reloading the chart and it crashed. Not sure if it is reproducable, it happened twice in 1 week, once on 1000.4 and once in 1000.5 version. The crash happened both the times on reload of the ES chart.

Could you please send your log an trace files to "support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com" for the day you experienced the crash. You can find these files at the following locations:

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Log--> log.20080730 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Trace--> trace.20080730 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
