Charting

I just moved over from TradeStation to NinjaTrader and I am having trouble setting up my chart. I am trading the Mini Russel symbol TF. In TradeStation I had my format settings set with an Interval set on Momentum bar of 1 and 1 tick. I can't find the option in Ninjatrader to set it up that way. I do not even see "Momentum" listed anywhere.

To clarify, would Momentum be a bar type that is available in Trade Station?

There would be a native Momentum indicator in the platform, which you can access by right-clicking within the chart and selecting "Indicators." More information at the below link:

No it is not an indicator. It is a type of chart. For instance I can change the chart to a 377 tic chart for example. I am trying to change the chart to a momentum chart but I do not see that option.

A Momentum bar type would not be native to the platform, but this may be something that could be created as a custom NinjaScript add-on. If you are not a programmer yourself you could enlist the help of a third party vendor who could assist in creating such an item.

My charts are blank

After install and connect NT I want to start charting, but soon as i choose some future appears a blank chart. I saw the log and say this

SubscribeMarketDataResolve: F.US.ENQ.Z16 could not be resolved

I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20170122.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20170122.txt"
