Renko historical data not downloading

Hi guys,

I'm having some trouble getting Renko graphs working on the NinjaTrader 7 platform. I can get graphs loading up fine if I only want the data from now onwards, but loading historical data doesn't seem to work.

I've tried both loading the Renko graph on several Forex currency pairs (AUDUSD, EURUSD), and the problem persists between them all. Even attempting load merely 5 days worth of data just results in failure. Additionally, trying to manually download the history in the Historical Data Manager (downloading ticks), fails, and it causes the same error to occur.

The error that appears in the log is as follows:
Error on reloading data: Downloading historical data for $AUDUSD failed: QuotesLoader doesn't reply more than 300000 msec. Cancel request by timeout (Panic)
NinjaTrader FXCM (Demo): Downloading historical data for $AUDUSD failed: QuotesLoader doesn't reply more than 300000 msec. Cancel request by timeout.

I'm using NinjaTrader 7 with the FXCM Demo account. I've tried several re-installations.

We're really needing to be able to test the Renko graphs over a significant amount of history for our strategy to consider moving to the NinjaTrader 7 platform.

Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.


To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
