chart does not load

    chart does not load

    Hi,

    a tick chart does load normally for one renkobar type, but when i load another renkobar (iwMeanrenko) it does give an error.

    I can send log/trace on request.

    Hello Rob,

    Do you have the NQ ##-## selected in the other chart as well? If you select the NQ 03-17, do you load historical data?

    Yes, please send me your log and trace files. Please go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Platform Support. Add 'Att Jason, 1628784' in the Subject field. Subsequently click Send to send the email.

      Hi Jason,

      files send via platform email

      indeed the good chart had the continious ## as well.
      Now using the iwmeanrenko bar with the 03-17 gives the same issue, see attachement.

        I have not received the email so far. Can you please send me the files manually to "platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com". Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach the files in your email.

        Windows start menu-->Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> log--> log.20161223 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Windows start menu-->Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> trace--> trace.20161223 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

          Done,

          possibly an issue with the internal mailserver is the virtual server, so send now by regular mail

            Jason,

            unfortunately, when i disconnect from Kinetick, the NT system fails and gives an error, so i have to close the program.

            I tried to send you the zipfile for the iwrenko.
            Email is returned..

              If you start NinjaTrader again, are you able to reproduce the error if you disconnect Kinetick? Please send me the log and trace files again if the error persists.

                problem reoccurs.
                New log & trace attached.

                Let me know if you want me to attach the zipfile as well for the iwRenko.
                You have to be quick then to remove it..

                  Unfortunately I do not have a license for this 3rd party add-on. Please do not post the .zip file on the forum.

                  If the issue is limited to this 3rd party bar type, can you please contact the vendor. They created the bar type and have a better understanding to troubleshoot the issue.

                  Unfortunately the content of the log and trace files is hard to read. I am not sure why the content is like that. The files you sent by email did not have this issue. Can you please send me the files by email again so I can investigate the error when you disconnect Kinetick.

                    the closure continues ( upon disconnect from IQFeed )

                    I see there's something written in the trace file about it.

                      Can you please check what IQFeed client you currently have installed. You can check this at Windows Control Panel-->Programs and Features. Make sure you have version 5.1.0.5. If not, please download and install it from the IQFeed connection guide below and check if you can disconnect without issue.

                          Can you please install IQFeed 5.1.0.5. instead and check if you can disconnect IQFeed successful in NinjaTrader. You can download and install it from the IQFeed connection guide below.
