I'm looking for a way to draw a arrow or diamond above/below bar that has penetrated above/below the bollinger bands

What do you mean permanently above/below? You can use the Draw() methods corresponding to the shape you want. If you give each draw a unique name it won't modify the previous draw and keep it on the chart "permanently".

Hey Josh,

I'm just looking to have a arrow or diamond (doesn't matter) pop up on the bar that "penetrates" or "crosses" either the upper/lower bands.

if (CrossAbove(Close, Bollinger(2, 20).Upper, 1))
     DrawDiamond("CrossAbove", false, 0, High[0] + TickSize, Color.Red);

Give that a try. Haven't tested.
