Concurrent Session Closed

Hello,

I was told awhile back on this forum that I could have two instances of Ninjatrader running simultaneously.

So I launched Ninjatrader 7 on my laptop (and I put in my simulation license number just in case), then I launched Ninjatrader 7 on my PC.

The NT7 on my PC has my lifetime license and a multi-broker license saved in it.

But I got the following error message:

NinjaTrader Continuum: Your session was closed due to a concurrent session

Am I missing something here?

You can connect to nt continuum with @sim license?

Hi Sledge,

I connect using Ninjatrader Continuum on my laptop.

Then I connect using Ninjatrader Continuum on my PC.

Once I connect to my PC it kicks me out of my laptop connection.

This is expected. While the platform has no problem running simultaneously on two PCs, NinjaTrader Continuum only allows one login per account. You would need a secondary login to be able to login to the same account simultaneously.
