NT6 / ZenFire through (SSH2) proxy / vpn tunnel

Hello,

How about the data security features implemented in NT6?

Unfortunately the documentation doesn't show any details concerning the transmission protocols, used ports etc between NT6 and the trading platform (ZenFire).

Can NT6 be "proxified", for example via a SSH(1/2) Server?
For example like that:
NT6 on Workstation -> LocalHost -> SSH Client -> ENCRYPTED TUNNEL -> SSH Server -> open Internet -> Broker / Trading Host.

Tunnelling through a VPN shouldn't be a problem, as I assume.
Is that correct?

Are "USER NAME / PASSWORD" as well as any transaction data between NT6 and the Broker/Trading Host transmitted in clear- or encrypted form?

Please contact your ZenFire broker for clarification. We are not experts to answer network related questions and recommend particular network/server setups. These issues are not controlled by NinjaTrader.

Also: You should use latest 6.5.1000.4 and not NT6.
