Recent data not populating chart

Hi there,

I'm not sure if perhaps this is a setting somewhere that I accidentlayy changed in the last few days.

When I have a minute chart open say on gold and I then change the data series to be that of crude oil. My chart does not automatically download the latest data for crude oil. Rather, there is a gap in price since the last time I downloaded crude. At the moment to fix this I just open the download manager and download all the crude data for today, the gaps are then filled in.

Having used for NT for a few years I've never seen this. IS there a setting that I have changed somewhere?

Thank you for writing in,

Go to Tools > Options > Data tab. Verify the "Get Data From Server" option is checked.

Also, please verify the connection itself is enabled for data, go to Tools > Account Connections > Select your connection > Change.

If both those are enabled, can you please let me know who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.


What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

(For a chart) what interval is selected?

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
