Quarterly chart

Ninjatrader's data box shows when the bar ends, correct? I have a quarterly chart constructed by selecting 'month' and then setting value to '3'. The data box for the first bar of the year however says January. Shouldn't it be March?

Thanks for your note.

This would be expected behavior. Only the "Time" setting setting would show end-of-bar values. Date would be separate from the time statistic shown in the data box. More information on the Data Box at the below link:

How would I construct a chart with each bar representing a quarter of the year with the first bar from jan-march, etc?


I am using NT 7.

Thanks for your reply.
This will vary depending on when you chart starts. I would recommend right clicking on the chart and selecting Data Series
Under Load Data Based On set it to CustomRange and then enter a Start Date of January 1st
