Connection problem (internet?)

Hello,

my friend tried to install the NT7.
The platform download stopped many times.

After the succesfully install, we saw, that the ninjatrader.com webpage is very slowly or bad from his machine.
At the login to the FXCM demo account the platform said:
2016.11.14. 12:36:22 Connection NinjaTrader FXCM (Demo): FXCM login failed, reason given: 'HTTP send request failed object='/pdas/servlet?rnd=98327164' errorCode=12002'(LoginFailed)

Everything is slow and/or bad.

We tried with the same computer, but with another internet service provider.
With the new ISP everything seems fine.

What could be the problem with the original ISP?

Of course, with the original ISP, the other things on the internet load fast and good.

Hello mlaci,

There could be an issue in the backbone of the ISP. The connection goes from your computer via various routers to the FXCM server. You can perform a tracert test to check this.

This procedure allows you to check where connection might fail or experiences large latency. It will sent a package to the server and it will track down the routers it connects through.

In Windows, select Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->Command Prompt.

Enter "tracert 204.8.240.1" and hit Enter. Check if you see any major latencies between routers. More information regarding this procedure can be found at the link below.

If you see latency between certain routers, please contact your ISP and check if there is anything they can do from their end.
