switching brokers after platform purchase

Lets say I start off with the Ninjatrader broker but don't like it, could I then switch to Interactive Brokers or would I need to buy the platform again?

I know there's a "multi-broker" option, but I'm thinking that means multiple brokers at the same time. I'm specifically talking about different brokers at different points in time.
