NT time syncrhonization

Does NT synchronize with my PC time or does the platform have its own clock?

If it does have its own clock, is it synchronized with the CME or a specific exchange?

Thanks for posting.

NinjaTrader uses your local PC's clock for all time operations. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to point NinjaTrader to another input source for time.

I have also included a publicly available link below to the CME's trading hours for futures and options.

You may use the steps below to change your Time Zone and sync the PC clock, note to set the server to time.nist.gov.

You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Press 'Change time zone...' Set the Time zone and press 'OK'.

Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

Or search the internet for Dimension 4. It synchronizes at your specified intervals and tries to adjust for the connection latency.

probably the most accurate from the bunch (nist,windows..etc)
