Chartstyle and Background Coloring

I use Chartstyle boxes instead of candlesticks in a chart.

The boxes are colored when I use BarColorSeries in my indicator.

However when I use BackColorSeries in my indicator, the background coloring is aligned as if I would use candlesticks not boxes. I'd like the backcoloring to also be aligned with the boxes.

Is there something else I can use instead of BackColorSeries? Or would I need to put something into the indicator code to tell it ChartStyle is "Box". If it's either I would appreciate some references or sample code.

I've submitted a feature request on your behalf to our development to have BackColorSeries (or BackBrushes in NT8) color behind the bar when using the Box style the same as when using the Candlesticks style.

Your request for the box style to have same middle bar orientation as the candle stick style is being tracked with ID# SFT-1711.
It is up to our development to decide if and when a request will be implemented.
