    Cross Overs.

    I'm having an issue.

I want an exit to be when the price closes above/below a SMA, however it doesn't work when testing. I mean this is probably the easiest thing possible so why doesn't it work?

    Hello Darth_Trader,

    Thanks for your post.

I'm not sure if this is the answer because I cannot see your entry code but on the ExitLong and ExitShort you have the signal names of "Exit Long" and "Exit Short". These names are in the "From entry signal" field which means the Exit method will only work if you used those signal names in your entry methods. I am guessing that you did not and that you wanted to name your exit signals, in which case you should move the signal names to the "Signal Name" field.

If you have given your entries signal names, then for the exit methods to work they will have to have the same signal names in the "from entry signal" field. If you have not given your entries signal names then you can leave the field blank as well.
