    Charting time periods

I trade Nadex 20-min binaries. They start at 9:40 AM EST and end every 20 minutes until 4:00 PM. I use Ninja 7 to chart the underlying indexes & my indicators & strategies.

I would like to have a vertical line drawn on my Ninja charts every 20 minutes during that time so that I can gage the time left to expiration. Is there a way to do this automatically for each of my charts in my workspace? It would also be nice to alternate the background color of each successive 20-min block.

I am very new to Ninja so please be specific on how to do this if it is possible.

    Thanks.

This would not be possible to do automatically by default, however, there is a indicator available here on our forums for free with this functionality.

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.
    • Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
    • From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript
    • Select the downloaded .zip file
    • NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
    • Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
    • Right click you chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK
