IB Order rejected error code 201

    IB Order rejected error code 201

    I just had a stop order transmitted to TWS from NT which didn't execute. The instrument is ES. After 10 seconds or so I got pop-up from NT saying: Order rejected. Reason: could not value this contracts at this time (201). The order became deactivated in TWS so I punched market order on the chart trader. That resulted in the same error after a few seconds. Third time was lucky ;-) Any idea why this has happened?

      downgraded my version when I started using NT.

        Please send in a note to Support at NinjaTrader dot com. Address the note to my attention and please attach to log file from today. Your log files can be found in the file folder MyDocuments/NinjaTrader6.5/log. Also please include the time that these orders took place.

          I had the same problem as well on Friday as so would be interested to know what was the problem.

            This was a message sent by IB. You'll need to contact them in regards to the reason for the order rejection.

              For those who are interested IB had an issue with their system valuating contracts from 13:10 to 13:18 EST.
