Backtesting all US stocks with NinjaTrader free

I downloaded Ninjatrader 8 RC 2 free version. When I was trying to download the data for US stocks, it did not give me the option to download the EOD data for all US stocks (~6000 stocks). The only options I could see were S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 etc.

Is downloading the historical data for all US stocks locked in the free versions?

Thank you for your note.

There is not an option in NinjaTrader to download end of data for all 6000 US stocks.

What you could do is add the stocks you’re interested in downloading EOD data for, to a instrument list, via Control Center>Tools>Instrument List and add the symbols to a list.

Then when you use Historical Data Manager to download historical data, you would select that instrument list via Instrument drop down, hovering over the list and clicking Select all. See Attachment.
