Delayed indicators??? What is this?

I have up-to-date pricing from Yahoo Finance, but my indicators aren't following. I have today's (Thursday) market prices, but no volume, no moving averages, no nothing for today. What's the deal?

YAHOO does only provide limited real time data (1 tick per 15 minutes).

That's not what I mean. For example, I have AT&T's chart up right now. I have today's open, high, low, and close, but no volume data for today (every day up to). No moving average value for today, and no other indicator's values. It is a day-to-day chart over the past several months.

Actually, wait. Although I was not getting these data values for the last day, I am now after changing CalculateOnBarClose to false.
Why is this?

I do see now that the CalculateOnBarClose is set to true with historical data, but I have one further question. With daily data, is the defined close of a bar only triggered when new data appears? For example, my chart had this feature turned to true, and, in turn, I had no indicator values for the day. With this setting on false, my indicators showed up.

Based on this, I am guessing that the "close" of the bar is interpreted by NinjaTrader when the next bar opens. Is this the case? Thank you.
