ATM StopLimit with ZB

Is there any way to correct the differential so that stop limit orders on ZB placed by an ATM are not rejected? Changing to stop market orders is not an acceptable solution.

No, the only thing you can do is use stop market orders for your stop loss.

Whatt about setting up "local OCO orders" in my data connection? would that cause the ATM to wait to place the limit until touched?

No. That would just make it that NinjaTrader would have to be connected for OCO to work. If NinjaTrader was not on and and order from the OCO group was filled, the other order would not be canceled and could also fill.

The problem is that I use Jigsaw for trade executions and it is my understanding that the NT7 API doesn't allow the type of order to be submitted. I have "stop market orders" set to true in chart trader and DOM, but I'm unable to use any ATM with ZB and Jigsaw tools.

NinjaScript strategies that are using ATMs will always have the stops as stop limit orders and you will not be able to use them on instruments such as the ZB that do not accept the built in stop limit offset. The custom NinjaScript strategy would have to have the stops, targets, and moves of the orders coded. It cannot use the ATMs.

This has been resolved in NinjaTrader 8 as there is a “UseStopLimitForSTopLoss” parameter available for strategies.
