    Quickly building Instrument List

Is there a way for quickly building an Instrument List without adding Symbols manually?

I tried multi-selection pressing CTRL but it doesn't seems to work.

    Thanks.

This is not possible in NinjaTrader 7, but is possible in NinjaTrader 8.

In NinjaTrader 8 go to Tools > Instrument Lists > Select the instrument list you wish to add to > In the "Instruments" pane, select "Add" > Click on the magnifying glass > You can use CTRL+click or SHIFT+click commands here to select multiple instruments > OK.

      Thanks.

I installed NT8 and I'd like to export the stock symbol list to excel (this was possible in NT7). Is there any similar function in NT8 (CTRL+C doesn't work).

There is no grid option in the Instruments list, however, when I tested I was able to successfully use CTRL+C to copy instruments I had selected and then use CTRL+V to paste them into notepad or excel.

        Tools > Instruments > Select the instrument(s) you wish to copy > CTRL+C > Open Excel > New Spreadsheet > CTRL+V
